Who We Are
Washtenaw County Senior Leaders, Inc. (WCSL) is a nonprofit organization that grew out of the largest and longest-standing senior services networking group in Washtenaw County, originally founded by volunteers in 2007. Our members include professionals from businesses and nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing services for older adults and their families in and around the county. While our membership nears 150 individuals, our monthly meetings typically welcome 35-50 attendees at rotating host locations throughout the Washtenaw County area.
Our group is made up of compassionate professionals from diverse backgrounds who enjoy connecting, collaborating, and supporting one another. Unlike many networking groups, we do not restrict the number of members within any particular industry—competition for business and referrals isn’t our focus. Instead, we prioritize referring seniors to the individuals or organizations that best match their unique needs and preferences. |
In the picture above at our 11/10/22 meeting, Dr. Ginny Creasman is presenting a general overview of VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, our Veteran populations, VA social programming and wrap-around services, health care delivery and future landscape, and a few notes on the new history PACT Act.

Our Meetings
We gather on the second Thursday of each month from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. To see the host for the upcoming meeting, please check the "Meetings" section.
Each meeting begins with a chance for members to network, strengthen business relationships, and exchange client referrals. We encourage both members and guests to bring business cards and promotional materials to share with the group. |
In the picture above, an officer from the Ann Arbor Police Department is presenting information on many of the current scams that our senior population is most vulnerable to.

Our Administrators
The administrators of Washtenaw County Senior Leaders were chosen by our retired leader, Dianne Brososky. They oversee monthly member meetings, manage communications, update our website and social media pages, Facebook & LinkedIn, and coordinate meeting locations and special events.
