December Meeting: Thursday, December 12, 2019

Happy Holidays Everyone!

At WCSL, we like to end the year with a big bang! So, rather than having a regular meeting for December, we are again, planning on having a Holiday Celebration of epic proportions!!!!!

Our Holiday Celebration will be hosted by StoryPoint - Saline and their Business Development Specialist, Cathy Mitchell on Thursday, December 12th from 8:30am - 10:00am. This beautiful retirement community offering all levels of senior living is located at 6230 South State Street in Saline.

Be sure to come at 8:30am and plan on staying until 10:00am as we have a whole list of things planned for everyone. Come mingle, socialize, and join in the activities. We'll have prizes to win, great food to eat, and lots of festive spirit to pass around to all who attend. December is the month we put aside our traditional (yet always fun) meeting protocol and spend time having fun together for the whole 90 minutes.

Are you excited yet? I hope so because WCSL is always a fun group of professionals to be around but in December, it's just extra special being together with everyone present and in the SPIRIT!

November Meeting: Thursday, November 14, 2019

Please make a note on your calendars that our upcoming meeting will be on November 14th from 8:30am to 10:00am. Heartland Health Care Center - Ann Arbor and their Business Development Specialist, David Liebrecht, will be hosting us for the morning's events. Heartland provides comprehensive rehabilitation & skilled nursing services and is located at 4701 East Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor (near St. Joseph Mercy Hospital).

David has arranged for Ms. Esther Acosta, owner of Acosta Law Firm, PLLC to be our guest speaker for the educational portion of our meeting. Her presentation is title, 5 Key Estate Planning Documents Every Senior Needs. According to a 2019 survey conducted by Caring.com, 57% of U.S. adults do NOT currently have estate planning documents. That means a lot of problems are facing the families of all those adults in the event of a death. Let's all use the information being presented by Ms. Acosta to start some serious conversations with our older loved ones and take action for ourselves, if we too, have not yet gotten our estate planning documents in order!

Light refreshments will be available to help energize you during the networking and educational portions of our meeting. Please be sure to bring business cards and any other promotional materials you would like to make available to everyone attending the meeting.

October Meeting: Thursday, October 10, 2019
